This is an old version of the SIMOLANT page. A new

Aims of this program:
-
In teaching of physics and chemistry at elementary and high schools:
A 2D molecular model of matter shows condensation of gas and
crystallization of liquid on cooling, and melting and evaporation
on heating up. Defects of a crystal can be studied as well.
-
In a university course of molecular simulations:
It supports both Monte Carlo and molecular dynamics, constant
energy and temperature, different boundary conditions, change of
the time-step and trial displacement. The radial distribution
function and coordination number can be shown as well.
You can download it as a ZIP archive.
Unpack it to a directory and read readme.eng.
